Over the years I've had the occasional problem with anxiety.

Recently I was pointed in the direction of a book called 24/7 which investigates the reasons for anxiety.

My particular problem, the book suggested, was due to a lack of seratonin (red meat). Certainly I've never liked eating meat but I decided to give it a go - and guess what? My having a regular serving of red meat (at least every second day0 my anxiety has basically vanished.

Whilst I realise there are many causes for anxiety the lack of seratonin seems to be what was causing mine.

I'm by no means saying more red meat will help everyone but it has certainly helped me.
