I would say that in a situation like that taking your klonopin is a good idea. Your doctor probably means that he doesn't want you to take it all the time but for a panic attack I don't think that he will get upset with you. Are you seeing a regular doctor for this? You many need someone that specializes in psych meds, you shouldn't be afraid to tell your doctor what you feel you need.
As for the feeling that you are being possessed by something, I think that a lot of people feel that way when they suffer from anxiety, if it continues I think that you should bring it up with your doctor the next time that you see him just so he is aware of what is going on.
Do you see a T? Therapy may be helpful in your situation.
