It really does pay to be an activist.....I got a call last night from a company that handles several different progressive groups...they do membership drives, etc.....(League of Conservation Voters, Nature Conservancy, DNC, etc.etc.) and they offered me a job!!!! My name had come up several times, as a very progressive activist, and the offer is open-ended ....a position will be there for me whenever I can get there.....the pay is good and I will get an increase in 3 months..plus there are bonus perks.......I'M SO EXCITED!!!P
