Making "morning time" for yourself can really be beneficial. In fact, most people are at their peak brain performance levels in the morning...from a therapeutic stanpoint, this means that if you take the time to put yourself in a good frame of mind, the benefits can last all day.
I'm a bit of a night owl, so I find this hard to do. Fortunately being in school like yourself means you can usually keep late hours. I don't get morning anxiety like you (I used to to some degree, though), but I find that some "chill out" time in the morning really helps me get through the day, something I've really needed lately.
Good luck...I've had some really bad struggles recently too. It's a cliche, but try to take it day by day, hour by hour...that's what I'm trying to do, as well.
