It's good to hear that you've put SI behind you and are hopeful that that will continue into the future . That's great. About the scar recovery thing, all I can suggest is buying those scar reduction paatches from pharmacies. They're quite expensive though, and I don't know how well they work. Cocoa butter oil is also supposed to work well in reducing the colour of scars - I don't know if that is true or not. I do know it's a moisturiser though. Vitamin E cream rubbed on to scars is meant to do a similar thing. It may not be possible to remove all evidence of the cuts being there - it depends on how bad they are. Some may fade to thin white lines and be barely noticeable - others may stay prominent.
