Kimmydawn, I have pretty fine hair too, and it seems to get all fried on the ends if I go too long without a trim. My stylist said to get an intensive conditioner (the kind that says to leave it for 10-15 minutes) but told me to leave it in as long as possible, 1-2 hours if not more if I have the time. Maybe that's something you could try.

I'm so sorry your hair took such a beating from that perm.
