2004, I think you should see your Primary Care Physician and let him make the decision as to whether you have a pinched nerve, herniated spinal disc, or something else. Your PCP may examine you and/or order an MRI or CT Scan himself or refer you to a Neurologist or other specialist in spinal field. Anyway, your back is nothing to be cavalier about. About 3-4 years ago, I had a problem with my back and complained for years to my PCP. I finally changed PCP and was referred to a Neurologist who ordered: 1) a spinal X-Ray, 2) CT Scan, and 3) an MRI. The MRI indicated I had a herniated & bulging disc, Degenerative Disc Disease, and some other problems. I'm not trying to scare you.

I just want to see your PCP ASAP so you can find out what the problem is.
