Yes there are policies in place to prevent one's workplace from knowing one's mental state, yet when one applies at nursing school, a list of medications accompanied by explanation is asked for. In fact just today I went to see my GP who filled out my nursing form. My GP stated the amount of information the local hospital ( where I will be applying at to WORK in..) has on my condition is a very large amount.
