Earth Day is Friday. And at this of my life, I feel more pressured to do meaningful things to help save Mother Earth. I'm going to list a few things that I do, and will do, to help save what's left to save!!
1. as i'm waiting for hot water to run, i fill gallon jugs and use it on my plants.
2. i only buy the simplest and purest forms of bathcare, etc.
3. i clean up the trash in the park across the street.
4. i combine all my errands into one trip, to conserve gas and reduce pollution.
5. i wear cotton and linen clothes.
6. i never, ever litter..
7. in the summer, i rely on fans as much as i can..before turning on the air conditioner and using oodles of electricity.
8. i re-cycle all newspapers and paper bags, cans and glass.
9. i'm teaching my six year old granddaughter about the environment.
10.i don't use herbicides or pesticides if i can prevent it. it's called "flea combs"....
11.i start lists like this on Al Gore's internet to get everyone "thinking and doing".........
