I am currently on Lithium 300mg three times a day. When I asked my doctor if I could continue Naprosyn (NSAID) for my osteoarthritis, he told me to stop taking it daily, only as needed. Basically all I can take is Tylenol (acetaminophen) for headaches.

Not on any diuretics, so I'm not sure on that one...

As far as blood testing goes, what harm would it do your MD to tack on a Lithium level with your other blood levels? I have my MD manage my blood levels, and he faxes the levels to my pdoc. Maybe your MD & pdoc need to work out a similar arrangement?
