I've been doing that for years to my parents and other people that I care about, and have had anger problems in general. Along with a host of other issues I sought professional help and have had good results. I still get angry, but at more appropriate times. I know sometimes I would shift to anger instead of feeling depressed, and I would anger easily if I was 'manic'. Even though mine and your issues are most likely completely different, if you feel your anger becoming uncontrolable or a cause for concern you should seek help from someone that can help you through it.
