Ive found that leaving depression to get better on its own doesnt work -for me anyway - and it just keeps coming back stronger each time - since I have been seeing a psychologist it has really helped - they can give you strategies to help shorten the duration of the depression and help when/if it re-occurrs -
Talking about it does help, I hope you find what works for you,
