you know... i've been thinking abou that - having the same problems myself. and I started seeing all that "one way channel" literally as energy. It is REAL hard to go upstream, especially when not used to fighting it.
So, I had this image of just simply *stepping out* of the stream (standing on empty space), letting the stream surge past as it may, and walk the other direction. No need to go against it. Just step out of it.
My goal is to visualize that until it is real.
