I'm so happy for you that you're going to 2/week! It sounds like you and T are both looking forward to it.
Going to 2/week has made such a difference for me. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. She suggested it early in therapy but I wasn't able to afford it for a year and a half. It's feels so good to know there are only a few days until the next session. It feels easier to talk about some things, knowing that it won't be a whole week before those things can be talked about more or the reaction to talking about them can be talked about.
Even at the slow pace I go, going twice a week makes therapy feel more like a part of my everyday life and things stay in/on my mind to continue exploring. Also good for times like recently when I fall apart because I don't have to suffer so long
I had to go back to once a week during the holidays because her schedule was so limited and I couldn't get time off work to fit in the 2nd session, and it was not good. I don't know now how I ever tolerated just once a week!
