I don't think it's weird, it's FUN
My dogs don't know me by my real name, just "mommy".
I have nicknames for my dogs, some change day to day.
They don't get confused with their real name either, my oldest dog, I call her "nonny" sometimes, rhymes with her name "Mollie" my other dog, the youngster I call "Maggie May" she obviously is Maggie . . . Maggie "may" or "may not" listen, or just a "maybe".
Now for the dancing baby . . . how's "Elvis" or "Fred" for Fred Astair???

Thought of another name for baby, "I-pod"
The dancing reminds me of the I-pod commercial, I got one for my birthday and make them laugh at home, when the commercial comes on I stand up and mimic the dance and we at home laugh. . . I guess you'd have to there, ha!ha!
