In addition to the above mentioned suppressants--exercise, and fiber rich food. There is one other thing that works for me.
I eat snacks or small meals several times a day.
I try to eat 6 times a day. Usually every 3 hours. If I am not hungry after eating in 3 hours, it tells me I ate too much the last time I ate. If I am hungry before the 3 hours is up, it tells me I ate too little.
I've been very successful with this. I’ve maintained my weight this way even when I’ve been injured and haven't been able to work out for a couple of months.
