Before you start panicking too much, remember that lumps can be calcium formations, they can fatty deposits, they can be cysts. Now that you found the lump, take the next step---zero excuses---and go to the doctor. Until you can get to the doctor, which needs to be soon, try to remain calm. You'll probably be asked questions like your age when you started your menses, where in your cycle you are, is there a family history of breast cancer, are you on any medication. So think about the answers, if you don't call, call a family member to help you out. The only reason I am urging you to act swiftly on this is because the sooner you know, the better you will be. Manda, I will hold you in my prayers. Please let me know what you find out. I am a huge breast cancer awareness advocate. Almost every female on my mother's side has had it.
