It's something to think about when you decide you want to have children. Or if you're having female problems. I don't know if it's the same condition, but my cousin was having difficulty getting pregnant and got checked out. Turns out she doesn't ovulate and had to go on medication to ovulate. There can be other female issues associated with it, when she mentioned these to her older sister, the older one got checked and she does not ovulate either.
The screwed up cycle is probably due to the hormones in the morning after pill. I would certainly let your doctor know about your family history and concerns.
