Have a general question and am not sure where to post it, so I put it here.

Would there be any impact on the mother/child bonding, or on the child's emotional development, if an infant is separated from its mother at birth and then permanently reunited with her 6-8 wks later?

I was recently surprised to realize that it happened to me.
