yes, i can have a short fuse and explosive anger if i'm too stressed or too tired. for me it's a hypo-manic state...like terribly agitated. when i'm like this i usually stay to myself, try not to drive the car too much, etc. if it's out of hand i call my pdoc or T.
if he just started his meds it'll take up to 28 days for the meds to completely kick into play. did your pdoc not explain this to you all? i can assure you after time the meds will help him a lot. sometimes they have to adjust the meds or try something new but i'd give it 3 weeks if he can manage that. don't know his age so it's hard to give any further info that might help.
if he's young tho, (15 or younger) i'd call his doc if these are recent since he started the meds. it could indicate he's not responding well to the meds or they're having an adverse affect. i'm no doc and there are pieces you left out that might have given me a better idea. if you feel like it, post more info here and we can try to help you all more.
