Great job on not panicking into total nut job! Maybe it was some sort of inflamation that resolved on its own. Pretty scary though, huh?

I suggest keeping the appointment if you made one. Just to follow through on the event and give you some added peace of mind.

If you've cancelled the appointment or never made one, make sure you report this occurence to your regular doctor at your next visit. Having regular doc pay special attention to this would be nothing but wise.
