fairy_garden,
i'm so glad you came here and told us what is going on. it sounds really rough right now. i wish i had some "magic fairy dust" that would ease your misery and show you the way to ease this all up.
i do believe this is temporary and it will get better. i went through similar feelings back in my school days and i did get past an unloving family and the mostly friendless days in a large crappy high school.
i do care that you hurt bad and you are scared, worried you can't get through this. bit by bit you will get through this.
is there anyone in real life you can trust to tell about how you feel and the problems functioning? a school counselor? any adult who is not useless? if you have no one there, keep posting here. you are not alone. people here get it. we will support as best we can.
you do matter, keep coming back. hugs if you want them,
