guests can't read social groups, just forums.
sometimes a guest is just a member who didn't log in and is reading.
were i using a public computer i would not logon either.

my only concern was when i first joined and the site asked me for my full name, i gave it and did not realize that it was publicly available. i modified my profile 3 months later.
on many sites ones name and email are required but kept private. hence the confusion. but i get such a benefit from this place that i can certainly overlook the small things.
