I've read that if you write out the negative things you say to yourself, and then you write out positive counterstatements it helps with self esteem. Then you reread your counterstatements every chance you get or whenever youre feeling especially low and it will begin to reverse the negative feelings/thoughts you have and turn them into positive ones!
