Mary Alice, I SO love your blue cuddly. Effexor is wonderful for a lot of people. But some people have horrible withdrawal symptoms when they try to quit. Myself, I'm sleepy all the time, eat most of the time, and generally feel bad physically while I'm taking it. For a very long time, a couple of years, I thought all these were just symptoms of my depression. But most were side effects of the Effexor. It doesn't have that effect on everyone. If you haven't read up on it, it would be a good idea. And, just pay attention to your body and how you feel physically as well as mentally. Good luck! J
