I thought i had read a while ago about delusional disorder that it said in order for it to be delusional disorder,1-delusions must be the only symptom, and 2, the delusions are false, but not unrealistic.

If you read the diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia, it first says, 2 or more of the following symptoms must be present:
Delusions
hallucinations
negative symptoms
disorganized speech.behavior

Then at the bottom is says that only one symptoms is nessicary if the delusions are bizzar or the voices keep up a running commentary on the person

I think that your delusions would be categorized as bizzar, because ideas that the CIO and such are after you are concidered very unrealistic.

It also sounds like you had a visual hallucination (the vision) Your symptoms do sound more like schizophrenia to me, but im not a doctor so i cant really diagnose you.
