Welcome Kendra. What a doozy of a dx, eh? There are plenty of folks here that have been living with this dx for well over a decade and beyond and then those of us who are 'newer' to it having been dx'd in the past couple of years.

Takes a while to sink in and for all to really believe I guess, in my case anyway. Part of my survival has been to not fully believe this possible yet now I cannot refute what is happening in life. I cannot argue facts and actualities with my pdoc and therapist. Denial was definitely easier in some aspects but not healthy in the long run for me/us.
