((((((((((((((((Rainbowzz))))))))))))))) It's so understandable that it's hard right now. I think having him stay at aunt's for a night or two is completely fine. I know it's hard to go to bed right when they do because it's the only time you can really have any time to let your brain think without someone right there.
I agree that if you can nap with him, it will help, but I understand that it's hard. If you can't nap, maybe you can at least do nothing during that time. Don't worry about cleaning or anything other than enjoying the time alone. Maybe do something relaxing, paint, read, anything that will uplift you during that time. Even if you don't sleep, you will be in a different state of mind by the time he wakes up.
I daresay almost everyone has been to the burned out stage at some point in parenting, especially when there don't seem to be any breaks and no relief pitchers. Hang in there Rain- it does get better. As he is able to do more things by himself and learns how to entertain himself more, you will have a bit more time to be on the other side of the room a bit more and be able to enjoy the time. Keep writing here. We really want to support you through this.
