An update.......the Prime Minister is saying the arsonists should "rot in jail"........Over AUD$31 million has been raised through Red Cross.........The Queen is also making a financial contribution.......Our PM received a call from President Obama expressing his condolences and support.........180 fatalities and rising.

A picture........A man standing outside his burnt house.......nothing is left but white ash, thats how hot the fire was.........the bush around him is like the surface of the moon. He is covered in soot and ash and you can barely see 2 feet in front of him........And this is the true Aussie spirit.......while his world has been destroyed, he nurses a cup of tea and remains in shock but philosophical and says "mate" alot.

God, my heart goes out to him and all the others.......the cup of tea is what sticks in my mind......the only source of comfort for that man that day.
