What can I say, but that my youngest son started college back in October and after getting through high school with out a gf (just friends that were girls) he went and got a gf a week before he started college... and while my husband and I like her and are glad that our son is forming a well balanced life we are concerned of the time our son is devoting to his gf and life activities over his college needs.

How did you other parents deal with this issue when your child is no longer a child, yet still not a full adult? (he will being turning 19 in a week).
