I think for dealing with PTSD therapy is the best thing to do.
When I first started to see my psychiartrist (that I've been with now for over 8 yrs) I orginally went for anxiety and depression and later got diagnosed with PTSD.
But she wouldn't bring it up to work on it until I was ready. It took 8 yrs almost to be ready to deal with it. But learning about it, and how to cope with it etc made me feel like a brand new person.
