Inky, I remember watching a thing about camping and car travel and people wrapped food in foil and put them in specific places near the engine for cooking. I remember baked potatoes and roasted veggies. Odd what I choose to remember. Never tried it but maybe I will. Good luck with your coffee pot. Might I suggest that if you are cooking ramen noodles add only a bit of the seasoning due to sodium, and maybe you can find canned veggies at the food shelf to throw in?
