Anyone ever take this drug for anxiety? I'm trying to get off of xanax slowly but my doctor told me to take the atenolol along with the xanax and to see how I felt and then I could slowly wean off of the xanax that way... Well I don't think I want to do that... It's a medication normally used for cardiovascular problems and could apparently cause diabetes as well as hair loss!!! No way! I'm too scared.. Has anyone tried this for anxiety related symptoms and had any success stories?? I've never even heard of this until today...
