I am curious, about this particular EEG. Was it a QEEG? Are you still having concentration issues?

Also, I am wondering if they just left you hanging with a diagnosis, albeit not in DSM, or did they also provide you with some therapy or something for the, so called, diagnosis, ADD? Was the word 'overfocused' used as part of the diagnosis or was it used as just a general adjective?

You say: "I had a brain map done once", but did any of your other EEG's show signs of ADD or any of your other Dr's say you had ADD type issues and/or did they give you any therapy for those? You mentioned you had several EEG's done.

My understanding of brain mapping is that there should be additional reading material for you to go by, not just a diagnosis. To my understanding there should be some follow-up type therapy.

I'm wondering why, too, you are going by something that happened 4 years ago? Is that wise? So much can happen in your life in 4 years. Here's hoping these questions will be of some help in your decision making for now and into the future.
