dear denise of diana's clan thank you for your encouragement. i apppreciate it very much. we will postpone our trip for about a month and then try again. we love dad and want to be good to him while we still can, as he is 85 now. sigh. it is sad when people we love get old.(it's no picnic getting old either!)
turquoise sea, thanks for your response. it is very cool to get something so central to us back in place. it feels natural already - though i slept many extra hours today, it was tiring!
