I gather all those pieces together and then spread them out where I can see them clearly then I begin to fit them together. Once they are together I move on to the next dominant colour and set about putting it together. I now have two large pieces of the puzzle but they are not yet connected to the rest of the puzzle. I continue arranging and fitting each colour together and before I know where I am they begin to connect to the edges of the puzzle. I can work on a section of a puzzle for quite some time before I see where it fits to the edge of the puzzle. Then I begin to see the puzzle coming together, taking shape and beginning to make a lot of sense. It takes time. Sometimes years to bring the puzzle together. But just by working on it towards that end helps me cope with all the scattered pieces.
Enjoy the puzzle my friend, that‘s the important thing.
