It sounds to me like you're trying to do things that distract you from your emotions? I think that is a good thing right now. Other things that you might try are watching a favourite TV show, reading a book, hanging out here, really.. just doing anything that occupies your mind, because doing that is incompatible with thinking thoughts of him...
