I'm sorry about this.. it so easy to say you should of done this or that.. but when you are going through it right at that time you want to be safe.
But as others have said.. maybe some how you can speak to your boss.. just in case it will happen again.. I don't have an answer for you..
Its hard and each one of us face our triggers different..
But at least talk to someone you trust about this at work.. because you don't want to loss your job.. Not for this person that took your life...then he wins again... take control of this and say NO..
