I’m glad you feel comfortable enough to share your concerns in this forum. No, you’re not losing you mind! I can see that you have a lot going on and you’re scared. I’m sorry you’re having such a difficult time. The appointment with a therapist is a step in the right direction and please don’t worry about what happens when you get there. Your therapist is a trained professional, won’t judge you or your behaviour and will know how to help you stay in the moment.
