I have been taking medication and going to therapy, but I am concerned that it has been of little help. I need help.

Okay, I have had these thoughts for over eight months now. I have avoided the issue of infidelity because it is of no use to my life. Sadly I expect men to be the main cheaters, which is the case. But women are soon catching up. Until these last few months, cheating has never been any issue, but I am fascinated by it. Now I don't want to be. I'm not saying that I have become addicted to it, just that I wish I had that sense of right and wrong like in the past. I think it is wrong for both men and women who cheat. What is it about women who cheat? It seemed rare to me, if not crazy, especially if the man is a good one. I don't think less of them, but I think that they are idiots. On a sidenote, I think most men who cheat are dogs and simply no good. I'm sorry about what has happened to you.

It wasn't until the last few months that I think less of a woman who cheats. it is so crazy because I have become a changed person, good and bad. I have become judgemental. That is why I wonder how many partners she had, why she cheated, etc. Those things I could just let go of because that is not me, but the double standard is obviously there. In fact, I hate having these thoughts. They just won't go away. They simply won't pass. I tend to look for the most extreme thoughts, when in fact they are actually few and far between. Most men and women are even faithful, or have no more than 1-4 partners. They cheat for a number of reasons, and I suspect that they love their partners, but cheating is wrong, regardless of the reason. But I have noticed people do look down on women who are rather promiscuous. I even wonder why some people are promiscuous. There are even a number of reasons. Some people just love sex, others love the single life, some have sex addictions, some like the adventure, some are not ready for a relationship, some like the money, and there are some who are evil. They love hurting men or women. They are purely selfish. They are narcissitic and abusive. Most promiscuoys are either excited by sex, or just troubled. Some have no respect for themselves.
