I am glad your mother was able to come home with so little lacking in her ability to get around her home. This is a hard position to be in, but much easier when they really can take care of themselves.

If you ever do have to provide your mother with OUTSIDE help, please make sure that the help comes from a licensed & bonded service. I never realized how important that was until things turned out so bad last December with my Mother when she came home from the hospital. I have posted about the trauma I went through & am trying to deal with.

I am so glad you have your Mom back. It is wonderful that you can be with her & make sure she is ok. It is also great to have family to share the responsibility with. I do miss my Mother. So many times things happen, & I think about calling only to remember that I can't.

Take care of yourself too...(I didn't & ended up in the medical hospital for about 2 months),
