I agree with bringing this up in therapy.
You can also write down your thoughts and then read them.
When I have obsessive or anxious thoughts it helps me to write them down or save my posts if i have posted them.
another thing i am learning to do is meditate. this seems to help also. jsut breathing. letting the thoughts just float overhead like clouds or like leaves in a stream.....just letting them go and not get focused on them. it takes practice to do that. but it does work.
