I'll check that book out. I haven't really ever tried people, well, not like portraits. I did do a watercolor of one of our border collies that I really like.

Mostly I've done landscapes. Often ppl think their pencil lines shouldn't show through, but to me that is part of the art! I don't draw well, so I have to put down lines first!
