Yes, that can seem like forever can't it? Welcome to psychcentral, btw. I don't know how big or connected your "system" is... or anything about you really. How long have you been DID? What do you know about your other "parts?" What do you do NOW for coping when things feel overwhelming?
Many find that journaling, or picture pasting (from magazines) or drawing or coloring by different parts help share information with the T... and allows the T to know some of the issues that arise in between sessions.
Does your T allow email, or faxes, or for you to leave messages on an answering machine? Sometimes knowing you can contact your T inbetween session helps you cope with the weeks in between.
