Well, the title pretty much explains it. A lot of people tell me I'm normal for my age, that it's not me, it's society telling kids to hook up so early, but heck, I definitely don't feel normal. I've never even had a crush and I'm 17!
(I mean really now, am I really that normal if every single person my age that I have ever known has had a boyfriend or girlfriend at least once in their life? Lord knows at least half of the kids in my graduating class aren't even virgins anymore.)
It just seems like anything beyond "hey let's be friends" is just too close. Frighteningly close. And I've never really felt that way about anybody either. And if it's even mildly hinted at that someone likes me in that way then it's scary, but 99.99999999999999999% of the time it's just some girls pretending that some person likes me in an attempt to harass me. Which got old after 6th grade.
