Jme, but making a major change is going to make us doubt our goals/ourselves/strengths. Women are usually brought up to be the caretaker and to put her needs at the bottom of the list.

When similar things happen to me I seem to get on a roller coaster of yes I do, no I don't...
This is when I have to double up and protect my determination.

The pull of staying in a situation that is not healthy for us can be very strong. The fact that it's unhealthy comes second to what our comfort level is in that situation.
Any type of change is going to stress us in many ways.
It's not easy but we do come out ahead when we honor our needs and expectations.
Expectations of being treated with respect and dignity are an absolute necessity if we are to have even a measure of peace.
