I have really only painted realistic landscapes. I have a friend who does something with fingerpaints with her eyes closed for self-expression. I forget what she called it. She said it was very good to help her create her feelings.

I'm creative/artistic by nature, sew, create my own knitting patterns, and
trying to write a mystery.

I want to get back into painting and will. Just looking for some inspiration and motavation. I'm in the thinking about it stage right now. My husband just found one of my watercolor palettes down in our storage area in the basement. I found some things in the bag that I had forgotten about, like one of my really good brushes. I wondered where that went!

I have done a few abstracts, but because I haven't had training in that area, I don't feel they are good at all. One of them I like, out of maybe 10 or so. I need to learn all over again how the paint works on the paper.
