The "mega-church" preacher? Did his MIL laugh? Did the MIL's in the audience laugh? I can see it coming from a comedian, but not from a "man of God." I never really understand why MILs are supposed to be so evil/dangerous anyway. I love my former MIL too.
Years ago when I was first diagnosed with amyloidosis, I was told I only had a few years left of eyesight. It really placed me in panic mode because I watched my mother suffer and die from the same disease.
We watched an episode of Seinfeld. They were sitting in the cafe eating soup, and Jerry said "I wonder if blind people know if they have a fly in their soup" - everyone laughed but me. For the longest time I was angry at Jerry Seinfeld. I STILL don't know the answer to that question, but I suspect if I'm left in the hands of strangers I'll be eating a lot of flies. I never thought so, but guess it's funny nowadays to watch blind and sick people struggle.
Does Joel Osteen ever tell any blind jokes? Does his audience laugh?
