I have incredibly dry hair to begin with, as well as thick and wiry, and i too dye alot. I find the all soft just amazing, the heavy cream makes your hair SO SOFT and manageable.. and i dont have manageable hair to begin with. lol.

I've decided, since im a bit of a hippy, to get small sized dreads put in this summer. My hair is almost down to my waist now and its hard to take care of, but even still I dont want to cut it. so im going with dreads. I may dye them funky colors, cause im funky like that

I think at this point if your hair is breaking, you do need to give it a break.. and also make sure to do deep conditioning AT LEAST every single week, if not every 3-4 days. This will keep putting the moisture to it. They mayo thing does help a bit, for me its just not enough though. YOu may want to follow up with something like infusium 23's leave in..

The all soft cost me about 15-20 CAD, so not that expensive. It is at salons only. For the infusium 23, its only about 10.00 so its not that bad either.

Also avoid brushing while wet, or what not, because you will end up with more breakage. If you are still getting alot of breakage, honestly sometimes the best thing you can do is get a trim to take off some of the destroyed ends. I hate doing that myself though, as i loath cutting my hair..lol
