Hi Tao,
Ive struggled with this also, mostly getting to caught up in online groups. It not just the time on its what goes through my head when Im off. It just takes up to much space in my head.
a few summers ago I locked my laptop in a big box I have and gave the key to one of my cliets to keep for a week.
I felt like doing that again here recently. What keeps me from doing it is communication with a couple email friends and using it for other research things.
Instead of using the computer for work I could just hand write out everything.
is there anyway you can limit your access of the computer?
like a lap top that cannot connect to the iternet ? maybe away to remove the wireless connection ?
I have dial up .. thats a thought..... cut the phone line
my problem is when Im at home .
I guess the first step would be don't open the lid of the lap top.
from an earlier post.

i am afraid, but i don't even have the chance to face it. i'm not trying to block possibilities, i simply can't find any. i've tried all i can think of.

Im fairly fortunate I have dance and skating that gets me out and interacting a bit with others . I attend a few 12 step meetings. I started going to a meditation group. I make myself go up and introduce myself to just one person I do not know and ask them about themselves how and when and why they started to come to this group.
Another outlet is volunteer work . if you can find something which you have an intrest where you can teach possibly that may place you in a role where you have the say in what and why your doing what your doing . this may lessen the akwardness of social situations because you'll be giving.
I'm about to join a womens knitting group geared for begginers . Its offerd at a place I get counseling at . theres already a instructor . I'd thought I'd check it out and offer another set of experienced hands and work on my projects at the same time and give something back to this location.
I'm not gonna pressure myself to enguage in talk . It will come eventually.
I recently saw three women training assitant living dogs . I would love to be a part of that kind of work . So much positive love and energy . so uplifting and it involves being around people as well.
